Your first week

Harmonic doesn’t need a rollout plan. But teams that do these five things in the first week tend to stick.

Day 1 — take your own questionnaire first

Do yours before inviting anyone. When your team arrives, there’s a real playbook to look at instead of an empty room, and it signals this isn’t a survey being done to them.

Day 1 — invite everyone

Send invitations to the whole team at once, not a trickle. The product gets better with each playbook, and momentum matters more than sequencing.

Day 2–3 — read two playbooks properly

Pick the teammate you work with most, and the one you find hardest to read. Open how to work with them. Most people find one sentence that explains a year of low-grade friction.

Day 3 — give the first shout-out

The feed is empty until someone goes first, and it should be you. Recognise someone for something specific from this week. Harmonic helps you phrase it the way that person actually likes to receive praise.

Day 5 — try the coach on something real

Got a tricky conversation coming up? Ask the AI coach how to approach it with that specific person. It answers from their actual working style, not generic management advice.

That’s it. After that, the rhythm of check-ins, recognition and celebrations carries itself.
