How to work with a teammate
Open any teammate’s profile and Harmonic shows you the two of you side by side: where your working styles align, and where they differ enough to cause friction if nobody names it.
How to read it
- The similarities are your shortcuts — shared preferences you can lean on without discussion.
- The differences are the useful part. Each one is a place where your default is not their default: you process change by talking it through, they need it in writing first; you want feedback raw, they want it considered.
The comparison isn’t a compatibility score — there’s deliberately no “you’re 73% compatible” number, because that would be nonsense. It’s a map of where translation is needed.
When to use it
- Before a hard conversation. Two minutes of reading changes how you open it.
- When someone new joins your orbit. Faster than three months of trial and error.
- When a pairing keeps grinding. The pattern usually has a name, and seeing it written down de-personalises it: it stops being “they’re difficult” and becomes “we sit at opposite ends of this spectrum.”

For a specific situation — delivering feedback, pitching a change, recognising a win — ask the AI coach. It reads both playbooks and answers for the actual pairing, not in generalities.
